THE BATH WAR HOSPITAL PROJECT AND EXHIBITION WAS SUPPORTED BY THE FOLLOWING ORGANISATIONS:

The Royal United Hospital’s charitable arts organisation Art at the Heart (AATH) secured Heritage Lottery Funding (HLF) from the ‘1st World War, Then and Now’ fund to commemorate the history and heritage of this vital War Hospital that will leave a legacy for many years to come.

The Friends of the RUH support our Exhibition programme, and Bath War Hospital ‘Acts of Kindness’ was our featured Exhibition in the Central Gallery over the summer months in 2016.

B&NES were Strategic Partners to AATH from 2014-17 and specifically supported the Bath War Hospital programme in 2016. As well as providing financial support, they have also been an invaluable resource for contacts and advice.

Arts Council England supported our participatory projects in 2016, including the workshops that took place for the ‘Acts of Kindness’ project.

We received a small grant from Theatre Royal Bath – Creative Fund in 2016 to help fund the workshops on the Children’s ward and Older Patient’s (OPU) wards.

Bath Boules also helped to fund the participatory workshops and Bath War Hospital ‘Acts of Kindness’ exhibition.

Bath Decorative and Fine Arts Society (NADFAS) gave a contribution towards materials for the Children’s ward workshops.
